Reports emerging from Kumasi indicate that Kumawood actor, Big Akwes, and a Kumasi-based radio presenter are engaged in a fight over the ‘love’ of an actress and model.
The actress, Safina Haroun disclosed this during a revealing interview with Kumawood actress, Tracey Boakye, on her “Time With Tracey” show.
According to Safina who is known to have been the girlfriend of Big Akwes, the popular actor was bent on controlling every part of her life and at one time got angry that she came to Kumasi without his permission, leading to a break up.

After parting ways with Big Akwes, she met the Luv FM presenter, who is popularly known in Kumasi as Amandzeba.
Though Safina describes her closeness to Amandzeba as a mere working relationship which has nothing to it, it has got Big Akwes jealous.
Big Akwes, the reports say, is peeved to the extent that he no longer talks to Amandzeba and has also vowed not to talk to Safina again.
When Tracey Boakye asked Safina if she was being ungrateful to Big Akwes who is credited with ‘discovering’ her, she replied in the negative, saying she was on the path of rising before Big Akwes came along.

While Safina, a lady endowed with huge frontal assets is an upcoming actress, Big Akwes has been on the Kumawood scene for a long time now.
He is known for being in the news for controversial comments.
Somewhere in late 2017, he had to beg for forgiveness from colleague actor, Bill Asamoah, after he was threatened with a suit following his claim that Bill was sleeping with young Kumawood actress, Maame Serwaa.
Big Akwes was recently told by a Kumasi-based prophet that he was going to die this year.
