Kumasi Asante Kotoko is yet to submit list of players to play in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) competition.
Public Relations officer of Asante Kotoko, Obed Acheampong has revealed on Asempa FM’s Ultimate sports show Monday.
He indicated that, they have formally written to CAF to confirm their participation next season’s competition.
Obed Acheampong noted the names of the 30 players have been given to the management members and the technical team who will lead the team during the African 2nd tier competition.
“We have enough time to put our list of players together to submit to CAF ahead of the Confederations cup but we know the management members and technical team that will lead Asante Kotoko through the tournament as well as the jerseys to be used”, Obed explained.
Asante Kotoko beat arch rivals Hearts of oak 3-1 at the Tamale Sports Stadium to win the MTN FA Cup and will represent Ghana in next season’s Confederations cup.
