Former management member of Asante Kotoko, Mr. Jarvis Peprah says he is unhappy with Asante Kotoko’s performance in the Confederations Cup opener.
The outspoken administrator said he was sad the Porcupine warriors could convert only one penalty out of the four conceded against CARA club of Congo.
In his own analysis of the game, Jarvis is of the view that Asante Kotoko should not be written off but be given one more chance in the return encounter to prove their worth.
The former CEO of Kotoko who says he remains hopeful of the club’s progression chances however admits that the club’s attacking machinery is nothing to write home about.
“I was very sad watching Asante Kotoko play and unable to convert all four penalties and even scoring in open play. Coach Polack needs to be more focused and know that the result is disgraceful for our club”, he fumed.
“This performance only shows how weak our attackers have been even during the season and I think Saddick Adams is being over pampered and needs to sit up because he is not a star like he wants to portray”.
The dyed-in-the-wool Kotoko supporter commended the numerous fans that filled the Babayara Sports stadium, saying motivation is not always monetary and expects management of the club to have invested in quality players ahead of their Africa Campaign.
