Ghanaian Musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known in the entertainment industry as Kwame A Plus, has urged Ghanaians to keep calm and watch government following the arrival of Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as Nam 1.

“Just keep calm and watch government, no plenty talking. No demo. No agitations. If any of those become necessary, my people, trust me, I will lead it. For now, there is no doubt in my mind.

“To Kwame A Plus, the only reason why it appears that he is always criticising the the government is that the bad decisions and lack of common sense approach to issues are just too many and it therefore makes it very difficult to talk about the good. However, If they do well, I’ll commend them,” he said in a post on Facebook while commenting on the arrival of the Menzgold Chief Executive Officer, Mr Mensah on Thursday.

“Though I didn’t invest with Menzgold, my only interest in this matter is for customers to get their money. I can confidently say that this is exactly what government is also interested in.

“On this particular issue, I must say government is doing very well. I’m not only interested in criticising government. One of the reasons government gave before closing down Menzgold was customer protection.” he said.

“Honestly government has taken that promise very serious. Government is doing everything in the interest of protecting the customers,” he added.
