Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu, is leading the party’s national chairmanship race, according to the latest poll by Global InfoAnalytics.
The poll shows that 23.3% of respondents would vote for Mr Boadu if the election were held today.
He is followed by former Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko, who has secured 17.7% support.
However, 41.3% of respondents remain undecided, potentially making the undecided bloc crucial to the outcome of the contest.
Meanwhile, 12.8% declined to disclose their preferred candidate.
Former NPP National Chairman Paul Afoko polled 4.1%, while former NPP National Vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe recorded 0.7%.
The figures indicate a closely contested race, with the large proportion of undecided respondents likely to play a significant role as the NPP’s internal elections approach.
