Evangelist-turned-rapper, Abraham Philip Akpor Kojo, popularly known as Lord Kenya says he hasn’t stopped doing music.

According to the award-winning rapper, he had to go on a long hiatus from the music scene because people thought it was a nine-day wonder when “God called him to be a pastor.”

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Tuesday, Kenya explained that he will only come out with a new single when “the Holy Spirit has given me the go-ahead otherwise I won’t do it.

He continued: “My past wasn’t me…if I had followed up musically [After God’s calling], a lot of people wouldn’t have believed me,” he said.
