Ten (10) players and a member of the technical team of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been discharged from the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, after suffering various degree of injuries in a road accident on Wednesday.

Nine of the ten players who got injured have been discharged. They are Evans Quao, Eric Donkor, Saddick Adams, Frank Sarfo Gyamfi, Baba Mahama, Osei Agyeman, Augustine Sefa, Michael Akuffo and Awudu Nafiu.
In addition to the playing body, the assistant coach of the team, Godwin Ablodey has also been discharged.
However, the Coach, Steve Pollack, Olenu Ashitey and the driver, Nana Berchie who is in a critical condition are still on admission at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council together with the Youth and Sports Committee of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly have made a donation of GH¢5,000 each to the team.
Simon Osei Mensah also given his word that the Regional Coordinating Council will foot the hospital bills.
It would recalled that the only person perished in the road accident was the deputy Equipment Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
