After endorsing the candidature of Nana Akufo-Addo in 2008 with their song ‘Big Dreams’, a former member of Wutah, has said he is no longer affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking on the issue of political endorsement by musicians in an election year, Wutah Kobby said that’s purely the business aspect of doing music.

He revealed on Cape Coast-based Property FM monitored that, endorsing a political party does not matter whether it’s NPP or NDC.

“When you look at it from that aspect of endorsing a political party, that one is purely the business aspect of doing music because I’m working to make a living so when a political party contacts me for endorsement, it doesn’t matter whether it’s this or that party.

It’s got nothing to do with party affiliation. Back in the day I had political party affiliation but right now I don’t belong to any political organization,” he said.
