Former Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) Chairman Alhaji Ali Raji has declared his intention to contest to contest the 2019 presidential election of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
According to him, he is more than qualified to to replace GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi to advance the cause of Ghana football.
His announcement comes after the current GFA Vice President, George Afriyie officially declared his intention to contest for FA President in 2019.
In an exclusive interview on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show,the erstwhile Eleven Wise director said, “there is a possibility that I will contest for GFA president in 2019, so don’t rule me out”.
“I have all the attributes to become GFA president. I have the qualities,energy,potential, experience therefore there is the possibility” he added.
Alhaji Ali Raji was Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association for six years.
