Contrary to claims by the police that all candidates of the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election were offered protection, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, Delali Kwasi Brempong, says he was not given any such protection.

The police had said all candidates were given police protection before, during and after the by-elections.

The move, according to them, was to ensure candidates are offered equal security to avert any pandemonium.
