The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of True Drivers Union, Yaw Berma has called on President Akufo Addo to sack Corporal Kamidu Yakubu at the Nima Police Division for maltreatment.
According to the PRO, the corporal had bragged that he is going to extort money from drivers until this current government leaves office because he as was part of the people who voted against Former President John Dramani Mahama.
“Police Corporal Kamidu extorts GhC 200 from us before taking any matter to the Nima Police Division”
Yaw Berma says that they had sent petitions against the conduct of the police officer to the Police Intelligence and Professional Standards (PIPS) for disciplinary action to be taken but nothing has been done.
