A woman’s desire to reciprocate the love of an alleged fraudster lover has confined her to the wheel-chair following an accident she encountered.
Mother of five and trader, Nana Ama, said her boyfriend Kwaku Owusu borrowed 1,300 Ghana cedis from her under the guise of topping up to buy a car.
Speaking to Nhyira fm’s Naa Amerley on Obra Show, Nana Ama said Kwaku who moved to Kasoa, failed to pay back the money when she needed the money to pay her suppliers.
Nana Ama traced Kwaku all the way to Kasoa in the Central region in a fruitless efforts to get her money.
“I have been with this man for some time and didn’t know he could be wicked. I was there one morning when he called telling me to loan him money which I did because of the love I had for him.
“The time he gave me had elapsed and so I was forced to travel to Kasoa from Kumasi just to collect my money from him. I left my children and rushed to his place but he refused to give me the money giving me silly excuses.
She continued that “He then asked me to go back because it was late and had left my children in Kumasi”.
According to her, she was on her way back that she was involved in a motor accident and lost one leg but Kwaku never visited her.
“I was involved in an accident on my way back to Kumasi when I was involved in an accident but he never came to visit me at the hospital even after he was informed of my accident. We later heard that he had escaped with money” she narrated.

But Kwaku when contacted explained the woman had invested the funds in a business, with expectation earning quick returns to be able to buy a pickup truck.
Kwaku, however, admits he never showed up to see Nana Ama after the accident because he was upset with her.
“I never abandoned her. All that she told the public are all lies and never intended to abandon her. I refused to talk to her because she annoyed me though I still love her” he said.
