A Kumasi-based top businessman has been fingered in the murder of a 78-year old hotel proprietor.
Relatives of late Anthony Owusu Adomako who suspect contract killing have filed complain to police, citing a man (name withheld) they describe victim’s business associate.
Proprietor of Coconut Guest House died on arrival at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after a masked man stabbed him several times in the lobby of the hotel at about 11 p.m. on Monday.
The deceased, was stabbed after some attackers stormed the guest house at about 11 p.m.
The Ashanti Regional Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Juliana Obeng, told Luv FM that the attackers did not pick anything from the hotel.
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old receptionist has been invited for questioning while investigations continue.
