A former Municipal Chief Executive of the Nsawam/Adoagyiri Constituency of the Eastern Region, Mark Dompreh, has engaged in fisticuffs  with one Lawrence Kportufe a branch secretary of his party, the National Democratic Congress.
The free for all fight occurred during the ongoing registration of NDC members at the Yaw Wireku branch of the NDC.

The Former MCE is reported to have ordered a gentleman to leave the registration center, describing him as an agent of the constituency chairman, Mr. Atta Modzi.
In a 13 minutes audio, Mark Dompreh accused the guy, popularly known as Cinema, of being a member of the NPP and also working together with the NDC constituency chairman, Atta Modzi to tarnish his image.

The former MCE started reigning insults on Cinema and Atta Modzi but had a response from one Lawrence Kportofe, a branch secretary of the Yaw Wireku Branch.
Not enthused about the response from Kportofe, Mark Dompreh pounced on him leading to a free for all fight.
Lawrence Kportufe in an interview with Maxwell Kudekor expressed shock over the MCE’s reactions.

He said the MCE seems to have a personal issue with the chairman, Atta Modzi and has unduly extended his anger to people close to him.
He however claims to have suffered some injuries in the chest and face after the brawl.
Meanwhile, Mr. Dompreh has decline comment on the issue.
