COP Bright Oduro himself had complained about unfair treatment, describing his removal as politically motivated.
COP Bright Oduro was the Director General in charge of Welfare at the Police Service before being moved to the CID as the new Director General in January 2017.
ACP Addo-Danquah was in the news after being accused by Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-Plus, of trying to cover-up some acts of corruption in the probe of President Akufo-Addo’s two Deputy Chiefs of Staff.

However, Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia believes her elevation is a slap in the face of the fight against corruption.
“I think ACP Addo’s post is questionable; If she was accused of compromising, why then should she be promoted? It means Nana Addo is not serious about fighting corruption in this country”, he said.
Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia was speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Wednesday.
