A member of the NDC communications team, Awo Kekeli, has expressed reservations about the communication style of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) following a recent court ruling on its powers.

Speaking on Accra-based UTV, she stated that while she had concerns about the office, her main issue was with how the Special Prosecutor handled public communication.

According to her, the office appeared overly vocal in the media, which she believes undermined its effectiveness.

“Me personally, I have issues with the Office of the Special Prosecutor; he talks too much,” she stated.

She argued that rather than frequently speaking about ongoing work, the Special Prosecutor should allow results and outcomes to speak for themselves.

Awo Kekeli noted that her concerns were more about style than substance, describing them as personal reservations about how the office has been managed in the public space.

Her comments come in the wake of discussions surrounding a High Court ruling affecting the prosecutorial powers of the OSP.
