Victims of an accident at Gomoa Antseadze on the Winneba – Cape Coast highway in the Central region have been identified as church members of the Good Shepherd Methodist Church.

Reports indicate that they were on their way to a funeral at Gomoa Dago when the accident occurred.

Speaking in an interview with Adom News, a survivor lamented all attempts to reach the ambulance service through the 112 emergency number to convey the victims proved futile.

Reports indicate the incident happened after an articulator car with the registration number AS 8726-10 collided with a Toyota mini bus with the registration number GX 3045-18 Saturday morning.

A resident, Emmanuel Amoh, who witnessed the accident, said the driver of the articulator truck tried to overtake a car and collided with the bus.
