The present state of former goalie of the Senior National Team, the Black Stars, Sammy Adjei has sent shockwaves down the spines  of sports lovers in the country as to what could have happened to the hitherto sought after player.
News reveal that ‘Barthez’ as affectionately called in football circles , after his career as a footballer is now a manager of a public toilet at Labadi, a suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region.
According to a close associate of the player, after his retirement some years ago, he decided to rather take advantage of the non-availability of places of convenience in suburbs of the nation’s capital to invest in the sector one of which is at Labadi.
His situation has reignited concerns about how footballers live extravagant lifestyles and fail to secure their future at the peak of their career with all monies and other things at their disposal.
Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei played for many years with Accra Hearts of Oak until he had a call up to the Black Stars but was dislocated by Richard Kingson.

  1. Guys stop demeaning this toilet biz. It is very lucrative. Do your research work properly & u ll be tempted to venture into same biz.

  2. What is wrong with taking advantage of non availability of toilet facilities and investing in it.
There is alot of money in that business

  3. I recently meet him at a mechanical shop with his new unregistered Hilux. From whtni saw it didn’t show he’s in financial cricies. That may be one of his numerous businesses in town.

  4. I don’t see anything wrong in investing your money into a business that can give you returns.
And who ever said he didn’t secure his future is a lier cos I live in his hood, they should go and check his house and the provisions shop he has opened for his wife
