The Speaker of Parliament, Prof Mike Aaron Oquaye has ‘forgiven’ the Bawku Central Member of Parliament (MP), Mahama Ayariga of the ‘sins’ he committed against Chairman of the Appointment Committee, Joe Osei-Owusu and Minority Chief Whip, Alhaji Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka and parliament as a whole.
The Speaker delivering his much anticpated ruling on the Joe Ghartey Committee report, chose to put on his clerical and opened his Bible to John 8:11 and ordered the NDC MP not to repeat his mistake.
“Go and since no more,” he told the MP after the repentant Ayariga has rendered an ‘unqualified’ apology to the House.
