Ghana forward, Abednego Tetteh, has indicated that he escaped death when his house in Sudan caught fire in gas explosion.
The former Bechem United bulky forward confirmed the news to Kumasi-based Angel FM.
“On Monday when I reached home, I wanted to make some food, so I scented a gas smell upon entering my house but I downplayed the smell of the gas and went on ahead to boil some soup.
“So immediately I left the stove there was massive explosion which triggered an awkward movement and I nearly lost my life. So my house was on fire but some people helped me quench the fire,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sudanese giants Al Hilal have terminated the contract of Tetteh after spending seven months with the club.
