Residents of Akooko, Suhum and Okroasi in the Eastern Region have demonstrated against a fetish priest in the area.
According to them, the fetish priest, Nana Saka has been engaging in money rituals popularly known as ‘Sakawa’ for people by using human beings for his sacrifice.
One resident who spoke to Adom News said the chief of the town promised that he and his subjects will try as much as possible to banish the fetish priest from the town, to curtail the loss of human lives but was unsuccessful.
The situation, the residents said has caused fear and panic in the town because residents have to stay in their houses without any activity.
The residents have therefore given him one week ultimatum to vacate the town or they will take the law into their own hands and deal ruthlessly with the fetish priest.
