The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee (NC) is in hot waters after transferring Berekum Arsenal’s Special Competition money into the account of Berekum Chelsea.

Bankroller of Berekum Arsenal, Alhaji Yakubu Moro, disclosed to Asempa FM that the organisers of the NC in transferring their share of the competition’s money into their account, rather sent it to the account of their regional rivals, Berekum Chelsea.

According to Alhaji Moro, he has contacted owner of Berekum Chelsea, Obed Nana Kwame Nketia, and he has confirmed the money came but due to some challenges with the account, the money is gone.

Alhaji Moro, who doubles as the founder of the club on SportsNite, described the Interim Committee as comedians. He claimed the Committee knows nothing about football since the mistake is unpardonable.

“They [the NC] say they have transferred the money into our account but unfortunately, the money has mistakenly landed in the account of Nana Kwame Nketia [Brekum Chelsea],” he revealed.

“I have checked my account and found no money; I contacted Nana Kwame [Brekum Chelsea’s owner], he confirmed the money came but it is gone because there was a problem with the account. How can you send Berekum Arsenal’s money into the account of Berekum Chelsea?

“I don’t care where the money has gotten to; all I need is my money.

“They [NC] are incompetent; and they don’t know what they’re doing. I will take them to court if I don’t get my money. They should go to the National Theatre and act; they are comedians,” he fumed.

Reports suggest that the Committee has settled Hasaacas and Ampem Darkoa Ladies. The two played in the finals of the women’s special competition.
