Days after the massive campaign, construction work has commenced on a deplorable 7.5km Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) road.

President of the Teshie Residents Association, Emmanuel Mettle-Nunoo on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme, Monday said the campaign has yielded results.

“All glory will go to Multimedia and the residents of Teshie,” he said.

Mr Mettle-Nunoo said though the contractor is on site, they are a little bit skeptical about the completion of the road following countless promises by successive governments to fix it.

“I hope this is not going to be a nine-day wonder. We residents of Teshie are going to monitor and make sure the road is done to its completion”, he stressed.
