There were tears, smiles, and plenty of excitement when Reign Oforiwaa, a graduate of Holy Child School in Cape Coast, received a surprise she never saw coming.
The young graduate, who had just completed her WASSCE examinations, was presented with a brand new 2026 Hyundai Elantra by Ghanaian food blogger Nomad Williams on behalf of her father.

What made the occasion even more special was that the surprise coincided with Reign’s birthday, turning an already memorable graduation celebration into a day she is unlikely to forget.
Family, friends, and invited guests watched as Nomad Williams read a heartfelt letter from Reign’s father before unveiling the vehicle. The letter spoke about Reign’s dedication to her studies, her discipline throughout her years at Holy Child, and the pride her father felt watching her grow into a responsible young woman.
According to her father, the gift was not about showing off wealth but about rewarding hard work and encouraging young people to take their education seriously.
He explained that throughout her time in school, Reign remained focused on her academics and demonstrated the kind of commitment every parent hopes to see in their child.

As the keys were handed over, emotions ran high. Those present described the moment as both inspiring and touching, especially when Reign realised that the vehicle was not only a graduation gift but also a birthday present from her father.
Many guests applauded the gesture, describing it as a powerful example of a parent recognising and celebrating academic achievement.
For Reign Oforiwaa, the day marked the end of one important chapter and the beginning of another. Having successfully completed high school and her WASSCE examinations, she now steps into a new phase of life with the support, love, and confidence of her family behind her.
While the Hyundai Elantra attracted plenty of attention, it was the message behind the gift that resonated most with those who attended: hard work, discipline, and dedication should always be celebrated.
And for one proud father, there could be no better time to celebrate his daughter than on her graduation day and birthday.
