Head coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah believes his effective monitoring for Ghanaian players abroad will yield him results.

Kwesi Appiah named Raphael Dwamena, Thomas Agyapong and Lumor Agbenyenu in the team’s starting line-up in their 5-0 drubbing of Ethiopia in a 2019 AFCON qualifier at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

However, the debutants received praises from the public for their excellent performance but despite the comfortable results recorded on Sunday, Kwesi Appiah has revealed he has deployed an effective monitoring plan to aid him to succeed with the team.

“I have a data and what i try to do is get all Ghanaians players who are doing well”. He told the media.

“In modern football,it is not always possible for you to be traveling here and there to monitor your players.

“With the help of modern technology, you can be in your room and do your job of monitoring so i decided to embark on that journey and that is how come we see all these brilliant players.” He added.

The Black Stars are currently preparing for their upcoming friendly matches against Mexico and their world rivals, USA.
