Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Madam Otiko Afisa Djaba has advised the youth in the country to stop engaging in pre-marital sex.
The Minister said guys don’t need to sleep with ladies to prove their love for them.

“If a boy asks you to prove your love for him by sleeping with him, tell him to prove his love by not sleeping with you,” she advised ladies.
Madam Djaba continued that girls who engage in sexual activities at a tender age tend to be school drop-outs due to higher chances of attaining teenage pregnancy – thereby threatening their future.

The minister therefore charged parents to be fully involved in the lives of their teenagers especially girls and engage them adding, “it is very easy to be pregnant but difficult to bring up a child” hence the need for these minors to desist from activities that lead to teenage pregnancies.
