DJ Switch celebrates 12th birthday with style [Photos]

Celebrated disc-jockey cum musician, DJ Switch, has taken to Instagram to share beautiful photos with her fans as she celebrates her 12th birthday.

Clad in a Navrongo traditional attire (Fugu) and proud to be conferred with the name ‘Wepere’ meaning God’s gift by the Paramount Chief Of Navrongo, DJ Switch posed as an archer with an arrow.

She expressed excitement in series of posts and thanked God for the success she had achieved in life.

DJ Switch was adjudged ‘DJ of the Year’ in a tight group made up of DJ Mic-Smith, DJ Vyrusky, DJ Sly, DJ Aroma and Joy FM’s DJ Black at the recently held Ghana DJ Awards.

Some industry players argued that DJ Switch didn’t deserve the honour at the ceremony.

But, reacting to this on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness show, the young DJ said none of the hate talks matter to her.

According to her, she never thought she would win the overall best award because she was scared of the nominees in the category.
