As part of his birthday celebration, some fans of Tema-based musician, Dadie Opanka fed children who are less-privileged and on the streets begging for funds.
They said it formed part of the gestures aimed at marking his birthday and to give back to society in his name.
The group went to the Tetteh Quarshie roundabout and its environs to put smiles on the faces of the children.
Opanka, who was touched by their gesture, took to social media to show gratitude.
He said: “So yesterday some members of the @opankaarmy@army_divas contributed to feed the kids n da needy on da streets as part of my Bday celebration. I’m touched n very proud to have such ppl [sic] as members of da ARMY… God bless y’all.”
