Workers of Crocodile Machete Ghana Limited are demonstrating at the forecourt of the company over what they describe as poor working conditions.

The about 200 workers who have since laid down their tools are demanding better conditions of service.

The Vice-Chair of the Workers Union, Frank Wilson Aforo, in an interview with Adom News’ Isabella Gidiglo-Ave said a majority of them have not been paid for months.

He said they are also calling for the abrogation of the recruitment contract of two re-assigned staff who are due for a pension.

The union chairman said because of the opportunity given them by the company, the two are not seeking their interest.

He cited bad negotiation with management which he says is rather worsening the working conditions of workers as the main reason they want the two to be sacked.

Mr Aforo said until the two pensioners are sacked, they will not return to work.
