President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has confirmed that the foundations for the passing of the Creative Arts Fund Bill have been laid.
Speaking at the State of the Nation Address on Thursday,The President said the setting up of the Creative Arts Fund will enable creative artistes to access funds to boost their arts.

With regard to the Tourism Sector, Nana Addo said his administration will ensure that tourists who will visit the country feel at home and welcome.
He recalled that on December 15, 2017 he joined the chiefs and people of Osu and Gbese to cut the sod for the 241-acre Accra Marine Drive Project.

Nana Addo added that there is the need to create a conducive and attractive tourism atmosphere that will compel tourists to say they felt ‘proud they were in Ghana.’
According to Nana Addo, he believes “this project, during construction and upon completion, will generate thousands of jobs for the local community and across the value chain, and position Ghana as a key tourism destination.”
