The Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), Isaac Bampoe Addo, has died at the age of 59.
Mr Bampoe Addo, affectionately known as Marico, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026.
His death has been met with grief among colleagues and associates who described him as a dedicated leader, mentor and friend.
A tribute announcing his passing described him as a man of strength and integrity who led CLOGSAG with vision, diligence and compassion.
He was also remembered for his commitment to excellence, loyalty and ability to inspire those around him, qualities that his colleagues said left a lasting mark on the association.
Mr Bampoe Addo’s colleagues paid tribute to his leadership and the relationships he built throughout his career, describing him as a mentor, brother and friend who would be deeply missed.
Details of his funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
