Amadu Salia, father of Amadu Bashiru, a class 3 pupil of Damongo St Anne’s primary school in the Savannah region, who pulled gun in school after being punished for bullying pupils, has expressed shock at his son’s behavior.

According to him, he doesn’t know where Bashiru had the gun from for him to carry it to school.

In an interview with Adom News, he stated that he had always known his son to be a good boy and so his son’s arrest came as a big shock to him.

“I don’t have a gun at home so I can’t really tell where he got the gun from. I was in the farm when I had a call that my son was arrested in school for threatening a pupil and head teacher of the school with a gun,” he added.
