Hiplife artiste, Yaa Pono has said that he cannot independently tell if Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale is has AIDS or not.
“I have no means of knowing whether Shatta Wale has AIDS or not…,” he told Adom FM’s Mid-morning host, Ohemaa Woyeje on Thursday.
Pono Biom had claimed in his ‘Gbei Naabu’ song that the self-acclaimed Dancehall King has AIDS and he’s busily distributing it to women who sleep with him.
He had claimed in the song that went viral and enjoyed wider play on air that Shatta Mitchy, the wife of the Dancehall King is aware of this status of his husband and hence seem unperturbed when his husband goes about flirting.
When asked if he was truly convinced that Shatta has AIDS, Pono said he said it as part of the lyrical beef that ensued between the duo some weeks ago.
“It is lyrics and when I pick my pen to write, I write whatever comes to mind…,” he said.
