An Accra High Court has ordered the defreezing of assets of former COCOBOD CEO Dr. Stephen Opuni who is standing trial for causing financial loss to the state.
The two accounts of the suspect has been frozen for over a year by Economic and Organised Crimes Office (EOCO) as it investigates the former CEO who headed COCOBOD for three years.
Dr. Opuni was the first CEO of a state institution to be fired following the swearing in of the Akufo-Addo government in January 2017.
