A 13-year-old boy has been crashed to death by a chain saw operator at Assin Abodwese near Senchiam in the Assin North municipality of the Central region.

According to the Assin Fosu Divisional Police Commander, Chief Supt. Henry B.M Bacho, the boy was trapped by a falling tree on his way to a location where chainsaw operators were working.

The police commander who spoke to Adom News’s Alfred Amoh explained that, the chainsaw operator is currently in police custody while investigations are still ongoing.
The body of the deceased, he said, has been sent to the morgue.
