Head Coach of Ghana’s Black Princesses, Yusif Basigi is positive his side is prepared to face their Kenyan counterparts in the return leg of the women world cup qualifier.
The former Sekondi Hassacas trainer believes most of the Black maidens played in the under 17 world cup thus very experienced to deliver victory.
Speaking to Asempa FM’s Ultimate sports show Wednesday, Basigi explained the team is not relenting in their preparations despite beating the Kenyans 5-0 a forth night ago at the Cape Coast sports stadium in Ghana.
“We are going into this game with all the seriousness it deserves even though we won the first leg on home soil. Most of the ladies have the experience and we will capitalize on that and make sure we come back with a good win over Kenya”.
“We are not complacent and still psyching the young ladies for the task ahead. We will make sure we win convincingly and qualify to the world cup in France next year” he concluded.
The Black princesses will enplane to Kenya on Thursday, 16 November, 2017 to play Kenya in the return leg encounter of the 2018 women world cup qualifiers.
