A team of police officers from the Kasoa Divisional Command and Clinical Psychologists from the Police Hospital, led by ASP Foster Nanewotor, have paid a visit to the children who witnessed the shooting of two policemen at Budumburam last Wednesday leading to their deaths.
The visit follows an appeal by the mother of the children for psychologist support.

Speaking in an interview with Adom News during the visit, ASP Nanewotor, upon interaction with the children, pledged their commitment to ensure the full recovery of the children.
“We have realised the children are experiencing sleepless nights, are absent minded and cannot concentrate on anything, but we will do our best to help them overcome their fears and trauma,” he assured.

Meanwhile, the mother of the witnesses in an interview with Adom News said “they have taken the children through an educative session on how to overcome their fears and we are hoping it works out for them.”
