A National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary aspirant, Michael Tetteh Kwetey, has promised to construct an ultra-modern shopping mall for the residents of the area if he is voted into office.

He has expressed confidence in winning the upcoming primary as he contests the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), Sam Nartey George.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosi Sen, Friday, he posited that he will use his lobbying skills to attract investors to build the mall at Ningo-Prampram to secure jobs for the youth.

“If I become an MP by God’s grace, I will build an ultra-modern shopping mall for Ningo residents. I will go and look for investors and with the location of the land, there is no way investors will turn their backs on me. I have over 130 acres that would be used for big companies to get jobs for our youth,” he stated.

To the 40-year-old businessman, who has served as the party’s branch chairman, constituency secretary and constituency chairman in Ningo Prampram, said he is willing to develop the constituency in every way possible.

Mr Kwetey described the upcoming primary as a fierce race following his defeat in 2012 and disqualification against the current MP.

“Ningo-Prampram is done and dusted for me.  It’s a foregone conclusion. My focus is general election,” he boasted.
