Residents of Gomoa Biakoye in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region are pleading with government to immediately call police officers in Kasoa to order.

According to the residents, police officers in their area have been harassing them on their lands for no reason and making their lives unbearable.

The residents who stormed the Budumburam chief’s palace Tuesday morning said these police officers go round issuing letters to threaten them while others extort monies from them.

The angry residents warned that they will face the police men squarely if government does not order them to stay away from their lands.

But Chief of Gomoa Budumburam, Nana Kojo Essel urged the residents to be patient and promised to deal with the matter.
