A private school teacher in Assin South District, Ebenezer Owusu also known as Taller has been declared wanted by the Assign Fosu Divisional Police Command for rape.
According to the Assin Fosu Divisional Police Commander, Chief Supt. Henry B.M Bacho, the 35-year-old Art Star Academy teacher in Assin Andoe, is alleged to have raped an 18-year old girl.
He added that in an attempt to arrest the suspect, his elder brother confirmed he had left the neighborhood.
“Nana Aba reported that her eighteen year old daughter was raped. The medical form was issued to the victim. The police went for an arrest but he was nowhere to be found.
“Later the police found out that he had left the neighbourhood. We are pleading with the public to give us any information towards his whereabouts. He is wanted by the police…”
