International Conflict Management Expert is warning of security implications in the Menzgold saga.

Dr. Kingsley Adjei maintained that, the anxious clients can easily vent their spleen on the populace if the issue is not dealt with professionally.

There is an international manhunt for the 34-year-old businessman, Nana Appiah Mensah who has been charged for defrauding by false pretenses.

The Menzgold business module had gone on for at least four years until the Securities and Exchange Commission ordered a shut down last September.

Since then, the about 60,000 all of them promised between 7% to 10% returns on special gold collectibles have been agitating for the release of their monies as Menzgold became increasingly unresponsive to their concerns.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday, Dr. Kingsley Adjei said Ghana is sitting on a time bomb.

He explained that, it is obvious many including very educated people have been victims of this “financial craze”.

The security expert said the well-crafted scam if not handled well could dent Ghana’s image in the international community.

Dr. Kingsley Adjei called on the security to be on red alert to avert any pandemonium.

He also urged government to as a matter of urgency expedite action and arrest NAM 1 to bring respite to aggrieved customers.
