The Korle-Bu Police command has arrested a restaurant operator, identified as Prince Damoah, for allegedly poisoning his landlord’s 16 cats at Korle-Gonno, a suburb in Accra.

The landlord, Samuel Adjetey, popularly known as Paa Nii, told Adom News Mr Damoah on several occasions threatened to kill the cats that were always in his restaurant.

He said he had no problem with the restaurant operator and could not fathom why he would commit the act and subject the innocent cats to such acts.

“Damoah told me he will kill my cats for disturbing his customers at the restaurant and before I knew it, he had poisoned 16 out of my 54 cats,” he narrated.

“I have no idea what Mr Adjetey is accusing me of. I have not killed any cat and would never do that. Why should he accuse me of something I know nothing about,” he cried.
