The owner of the shop in which one of the two police officers killed at Gomoa Buduburam sought cover is appealing for psychological help.

The woman who witnessed the final moments of Sergeant Michael Dzamesi said she feels haunted by his ghost.

According to a narration of a 13-year-old girl, the late Sgt Dzamesi rushed into the grocery shot when his assailant, Eric Dua allegedly shot him.

To ensure the operation was complete, the teenager said the suspect also came into the shop and shot him again which led to his unfortunate demise.

Sharing her traumatic experience with Joy News’ Maxwell Agbagba, the distraught woman said she gets flashbacks of the incident playing in her mind any time she opened her shop.

She cited how the late police officer was lying on a bag of rice with blood oozing out of his mouth and head to buttress her point.

Though she gathered courage and cleaned the bloodstains in the shop, the trader said she now leaves in constant fear.

This notwithstanding, the woman said she opened the shop for business a day after the incident because it is her only source of livelihood.
