The National Organizer position of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is getting hotter following the decision by vice chairperson of the party to join the race.

Anita Desooso is the third person to declare her intention after former National Organizer, Yaw Boateng Gyan and former Member of Parliament for Akwatia, Baba Jamal.

The position is currently being held by Kofi Adams who ousted Boateng during the NDC’s congress at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Kofi Adams is yet to announce his decision on going for a second term.

But Anita Desooso in an interview on Adom News Thursday said, she stands tall among all those vying for the National Organizer position.

She explained that, with the experience as former National Womens Organizer and now vice chairperson of the NDC, she is more than qualified.

“If even our grandmother, Yaa Asantewaa can lead men to war, why can’t I? So the men should support me”she added.

The former National Womens Organizer noted that, the NDC needs a devout and hard working person to secure victory in 2020.

Anita Desooso said she wants to encourage other women to vie for positions for men to prove that what men can do, women can do better.
