Joseph Ade Coker, Former NDC Greater Accra Regional Chairman

Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Joseph Ade Coker wants Ghana’s former Consul to the United Arab Emirates under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration, Ambassador Daniel Osei punished for his scathing attacks on his boss.

Mr. Coker who was speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosi Sen Friday wished Ambassador Osei is expelled from the party to bring sanity to the party in the build-up to the 2020 elections.

“Politics nowadays should be done in a more decorous manner. I wish he would be sacked from the party because we can’t allow anybody to malign the party’s bigwigs and leaders. We need to grow,” he stated.

Whilst describing the attacks as unfortunate, he wants Mr. Osei to be sacked from the National Democratic Party, a party that appointed him consul in the UAE.

“Mr Osei’s attack on Mahama is rather unfortunate. As a  Mahama appointee, all you could do is to go round on air to attack the former president for no reason. I don’t think he is even a delegate. Too much of insult does not take them anywhere. I’m very sad over this,” he said.

Ambassador Osei in his latest interview revealed that his greatest mistake in his political life is the fact that he took an appointment from the ex-President a comment that has not gone down well with supporters of the former president.
