Alhaji Grusah, owner of King Faisal Football Club

Owner of King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Grusah, has confirmed that he has received Congress documents from the Normalisation Committee.

The documents, which throw more light on what will transpire when the executives of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) meet representatives of football clubs, have always been a prerequisite for the Congress.

The bankroller of the Kumasi-based club is the first to confirm to Asempa Sports that he has the said documents in his possession.

“I have received the documents and we are ready for the Congress; they [the Normalisation Committee] are meeting us [clubs] in batches and I have met them already and everything went well. They will meet a different batch this week but I think the Congress will be on 14th, 15th or 16th,” he told Kwadwo Mensah Moshosho on the Ultimate Sports Morning Show.

“They presented the final documents to us to read and changes were made; that was the agenda,” he added.

All these are part of the process to pave way for a new GFA president to be elected in order to end the reign of the Normalisation Committee.
