2016/2017 Ghana Premier League Champions, Aduana Stars, has signed a three-year deal with West Africa Football Academy defender, Caleb Amankwah.
He joined the “Ogya boys” as their latest signing after Justice Anane, Paul Aidoo, Uba Ikama from Congo and former Wa All Stars captain, Hafiz Adams all signed for the club.
Amankwah becomes the second player to join Aduana Stars from WAFA after Zakaria Mumuni signed for the club two seasons ago.
A statement released by the club after Caleb Amankwah passed his medicals read:
”We are happy to announce the signing of Caleb Amankwah from @WAFAcademySC into the #OGYA fraternity. He has today signed a 3 year deal with Aduana Stars FC.”
The 20 year-old  scored  a goal and made two assists last season to aid the Academy side  finish second behind the ‘ogya boys.’
Amankwah is expected to face stiff competition from former Wa All Stars captain, Hafiz Adams for the right full back position.
