The dusty LEKMA road

So far, the JoyNews’ campaign #FixLekmaNow to get roads fixed in the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly (LEKMA) has gathered momentum as the Twi brands, Adom FM and Adom TV have joined the crusade.

Dusty homes, broken down vehicles and the risk of respiratory tract infections are just a few of the things residents of LEKMA have to deal with as a result of the bad roads.

The residents accused the present government of failing to fulfill its promise to fix the roads if voted into power. The residents say the situation is affecting everyone in the community including children.

The Adom team made up of Dwaso Nsem (Adom FM) and Bedwam (Adom TV) staff, who rode on the bumpy roads, experienced firsthand the plight of residents.
