Morocco have cancelled their planned international friendly against Ghana, which was scheduled to take place in Tangier on 4 October.
The fixture was expected to give the Black Stars an opportunity to regroup ahead of their next round of 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
However, the Moroccan Football Federation has called off the match, with no official reason given for the cancellation.
The development is another setback for Ghana, who have endured a difficult start to their AFCON qualifying campaign.
The Black Stars have lost their opening two Group C matches, suffering a 2-0 defeat by Côte d’Ivoire before a 4-2 loss to The Gambia in Accra on Tuesday.
Ghana had also been scheduled to play Tanzania in an international friendly, but that fixture was cancelled after the two football associations failed to reach a final agreement.
Carlos Queiroz will now have to find alternative opposition as he prepares his squad for the next round of AFCON qualifiers in November.
The consecutive defeats have left the four-time African champions with a difficult task as they seek to revive their qualification campaign and secure a place at the 2027 tournament, which will be hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
Ghana will return to competitive action in October when they face Somalia in a double-header at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars are aiming to return to the continental showpiece after missing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
