The Member of Parliament for Sissala West, Mohammed A. Sukparu, has donated GH¢20,000 to support the servicing and maintenance of the fire tender at the Sissala West District Fire Station in Gwollu.
The donation was presented on behalf of the MP by the District Chief Executive, Gbane Fuseine Abudu, accompanied by some party supporters.
Receiving the donation, the District Fire Officer, ADO I Sanjage Salaam Musah, expressed appreciation to the MP for the gesture and assured that the funds would be used for their intended purpose.
The support is expected to help restore and maintain the fire tender in good working condition, thereby improving the station’s operational readiness and its capacity to respond promptly to fire and other emergencies within the district.
The Ghana National Fire Service said the intervention would contribute to strengthening emergency response and protecting lives and property in the Sissala West District.
